I have been in Tampa since 1984 having moved from Columbus, Ohio.  I received my real estate license in 1986 and worked for Suarez Housing before going onto commercial real estate.  I work for Highwoods Properties Inc., a national developer and commercial property management company.

My mother, Marge, and I built our home in 1992 on Appaloosa.  We loved the tree-filled community with friendly neighbors.  Coming from an environment where everyone knew their neighbors, we wanted to continue that kind of life style.

I joined the Cumberland Manors Neighborhood Watch Program in 1993 as a Block Captina and became the Coordinator in 1995.  Neighborhood Watch was instrumental for 10 years of Crime Prevention Socials for Cumberland Manors.  I became a member of the Board of Directors for Hillsborough County Neighborhood Watch in 1997.  I was asked to join the Cumberland Manors Board of Directors in 2004.  Living in Cumberland Manors has introduced me to new and wonderful people and helped me become the person you know today.

In the Cumberland Manors Web Site and in the Cumberland Crier Newsletter, we try to provide useful information to our homeowners and residents, including quick, simple answers to the most common questions about our Deed Restrictions.  This is for the convenience of our readers.  However, in all instances the language of the governing documents prevails over these short answers.
